Casement bolt, especially casement bolt lock for a door, French window or the like, having, in a mechanism (3) forming an integral part of the leaf, a spring (21) having returned to its position of rest after actuating a rod (4, 204) passing along a runner (8, 208) provided with locking elements (5, 6, 7) interacting with catches forming an integral part of the leaf, the sliding rod (4, 204) being subject to recall to a locking position by an elastic and arrestable element (32) in the unlocked position by means of a catching device (42) comprising a thumb piece (47, 147, 253), a stop (45, 260) and a catch (43, 243), a slide (15) forming an integral part of the frame being provided to manoeuvre the catching device (42) and free the sliding rod (4, 204) from the said catching device (42), characterized by the fact that the stop (45, 260) of the catching device (42) is arranged on an elastic part (59) of the sliding rod (4, 204) or an elastic element (259) fastened to the said sliding rod (4, 204), that the catch (43, 243) of the catching device is arranged in the runner (8, 208), while the thumb-piece (47, 147, 253) is an integral part of the sliding rod (4, 204) or of the runner (208).</p> |
