PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a fixing process for latent image formation, to reduce the size of a device, and to obtain a sharp repetitively-copied image, by transferring a visible image on a photosensitive drum to a press transfer body, and forming a magnetic latent image on the basis of the visible image. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive drum 1 is developed by a developing unit 4 to obtain a visible image, which is press-transferred to the press transfer body 5 to form a magnetic latent image on a magnetic recording body 8 through a magnetic field generator 7 at a position B. Then, the image is transferred to and fixed on recording paper P, but the magnetic latent image is held on the magnetic recording body 8 as it is, so it is developed by a developing unit 9 to obtain pictures repeatedly. In this case, the process of fixation for magnetic latent image formation is unnecessary, so the complicating of the device is evaded and the press transfer body 5 is in use to eliminate the problem of disorder of a image due to a disorder of an electric field. Further, even if the number of sheets of recording paper increases, invariably sharp image are obtained. |
