Window frame (1) which is provided in a passenger vehicle and is provided with a bearing flange (2) which protrudes into the window opening and a window pane (3) which is flush with the outer skin and installed permanently. On the edge region of said window pane a rubber-elastic seal (4) is attached which has on its outer circumference a holding groove (5) which is assigned to the bearing flange. The window pane is connected to the window frame in such a way that after its insertion into the window opening the rubber-elastic seal is arranged via its holding groove on the bearing flange.
