During the automated manufacture of printed-circuit assemblies, the large number of different circuit board formats represents a not inconsiderable impediment to their transportation and fitment in automatic units. Such processes are thus largely carried out manually or are only partially automated, so that the production of the printed circuit assemblies is labour-intensive and cost-intensive. According to the invention, an arrangement is created which permits the automatic manufacture of such printed-circuit assemblies in a simple manner and is designed in such a manner that a support (1) which consists of two U-shaped frame parts (4, 5) connected to one another at their bases, has a recess (2) for holding the circuit board (3). <IMAGE>
