Device for cooling dilatometric samples

The invention relates to the problems of dilatometric testing in the temperature range from -190 to +1100 DEG C. The novel device can be used in conjunction with a high-temperature dilatometer for continuously cooling the dilatometric sample in the temperature range quoted above without it being necessary to replace the sample. This makes it possible to measure the austenite decomposition of the steels whose transformation temperature is below normal temperature. The invention can be exploited practically at all dilatometric workbenches equipped with a high-temperature dilatometer, preferably with a hardening device. This extends the possible uses of the given device.
