In the device for supplying foam to a user, especially a discontinuous or irregularly working user (2), an intermediate vessel is provided as a foam store (4) in the supply line leading to the user between a foam generator (1) and the user (2). At the outlet end of this foam store in the zone of the discharge side, a valve (5), preferably a program-controlled valve, can be provided which adjusts itself to the working mode of the user. The user can be a foam application station, where a foamed application liquor, treatment liquor, dyeing liquor or the like is applied to preferably a two-dimensional structure, for example a web of material.
