PURPOSE:To obtain a continuous truly twisted yarn at a high speed, by feeding a yarn to a special rotating body, cutting the yarn, holding the end of the yarn, twisting the yarn, releasing the holding, and sucking the end of the yarn at a yarn sucking part provided under the rotating body, superposing and interlacing the end of the yarn with the front end of the cut yarn at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic ring 13 is provided under a rotor 12 having a central hole (12a), and a solenoid coil 14 capable of attracting or separating the magnetic ring 13 from the rotor 12 is provided around the magnetic ring 13 to constitute a rotating body 6. A continuous yarn (Y1) drawn out of a yarn feeding body 1 is passed through feeding rollers 4 and 4' and a guide 5 for stopping the propagation of twists and then introduced into the rotating body 6. The feeding rollers 4 and 4' are separated mutually to stop the feed of the yarn (Y1), and the magnetic ring 13 of the rotating body 6 is attracted to the rotor 12 to cut the yarn (Y1) and twist the yarn (Y1) by holding the yarn end. The magnetic ring 13 is then separated from the rotor 12 to release the holding of the yarn (Y1), and the feeding rollers 4 and 4' restart the feeding of the yarn (Y1) at the same time. The twisted yarn (Y1) is then sucked by an air jet chamber 7 provided just under the rotating body 6 at the same time and interlaced with the front end of the previously cut yarn (Y2) to give the aimed continuous truly twisted yarn. |
