<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability and reliability of key operation, by generating voice for characters corresponding to a depressed key. CONSTITUTION:When a key is depressed, a code is transmitted to a microcomputer via a data bus line 4. The microcomputer 5 transmit an output command to an output circuit 11. The output circuit 11 outputs the code to an external device. Further, the microcomputer 5 generates a storage address of a voice pattern corresponding to the depressed key and sends it to a memory 7 via a bus line 6. The voice pattern is read out from the memory 7. The voice pattern is forwarded to a digital-to-analog converter 8, where the pattern is converted into a voice signal for utterance.</p> |
