PURPOSE:Mill cleaning rolling oil with both good lubricating and annealing properties, prepd. by compounding an ester-derived base oil with at least two antioxidants selected from the specified antioxidants. CONSTITUTION:A mono, di, tri or tetraester (wherein an alcohol constituting the ester includes methanol, polyethylene glycol, etc. and a fatty acid includes lauric, acid, a dimer acid, tallow fatty acid, etc.) is used as a base oil, and compounded with at least two antioxidants selected from phenol, sulfur, amine and phosphros- base antioxidants, such as 2,6-di-t-butyl-p-cresol, dimyristyl thiodipropionate, phenothiazine and triphenyl phosphite. Animal and vegetable fats and oils such as refined beef tallow and refined palm oil may be used together as the base oil. |
