The device includes a hollow body (1) formed of sheet metal, with a slot (3) formed in the top surface. A connecting piece (4) comprises a base (5) and a tenon (6) standing up at right angles to the base. The tenon passes through the slot (5) and may then be fastened to the cover by soldering. A hole is provided in the tenon for anchoring. The base may be a u-shaped bracket with its two upright tenons passing through a corresponding pair of slots in the cover. Alternatively, a socket forming part of the ball and socket joint may project from the cover. |
