PURPOSE:Mill cleaning rolling oil with both good lubricating and annealing properties, prepd. by adding at least two specified antioxidants to a base oil consisting of fats and oils. CONSTITUTION:Rolling oil for cold rolled steel plate prepd. by compounding a base oil consisting of fats and oils such as beef tallow and palm oil with at least two antioxidants selected from phenol, sulfur, phosphorus and amine-base antioidants, such as 2,6-di-tert.-butyl-p-cresol, di-lauryl thiodipropionate, triphenyl phosphite or phenothiazine. It is possible to obtain mill cleaning rolling oil having enhanced annealing property by adding at least two said antioxidants to a base oil consisting of animal and vegetable fats and oils having good lubricating property but inferior annealing property. |
