PURPOSE:To detect the tension of two kinds of recording media when they are loaded, by providing a detecting means common to both recording media for detecting the tension of the 1st and the 2nd recording media when they are loaded. CONSTITUTION:Magnetism-sensing elements 39 and 40 for reel rotation detection on a supply and a take-up side face magnets provided at outer circumferences of respective reel turntables to detect the rotation of the reels, and are used as rotation counters to turn off the power source when a tape ends or when its run is abnormal. A left drawing arm 41 for drawing an adapter side is fitted slidably on shafts 42 and 43 and a drawing pin 44 is implanted at the top of the arm; and a gear part 41a for driving is formed on one flank, and a bent part 41b is formed at part of the opposite flank. A right drawing arm 45 is fitted slidably on shafts 46 and 47 similarly and a drawing pin 48 is formed at the top of it; and a gear part 45a is formed on one flank, and a bent part 45c is provided at part of the opposite flank. |
