PURPOSE:To drive a color liquid crystal display device by inputting parallel display data of red, green, and the blue to parallel shift register circuits and transferring the data in parallel, and then arraying the data of red, green, and blue, bit by bit, by a gate logic circuit part. CONSTITUTION:When the color liquid crystal display device is used, 4-bit parallel data of red are inputted to RD1-RD4 of D type flip-flops 32-30, parallel data of green are inputted to GD1-GD4, and parallel data of blue are inputted to BD1-BD4, so the data are fetched with a shift clock SCK. Then, when a next shift clock is inputted, outputs of the D type flip-flop 32 are shifted to 37, the output of 31 is shifted to 36, and the output of 30 is shifted to 35. Color display data of RD1, GD1, BD1, RD2, GD2, and BD2 are arrayed in order at terminals O1-O6 through the operation of the AND circuit part 34a and OR circuit part 34b of a programmable logic array and outputted to and stored in a latch circuit 39 with a latch signal LK, so that the color liquid crystal display device is driven by a driving circuit 40.
