PURPOSE:To automatically reduce the quantity of powder to be sprinkled for preventing back transfer depending on the quantity of piled-up printed matter by reducing the quantity of powder to be sprinkled for preventing back transfer depending on the quantity of the piled-up printed matter obtained by a means for detecting the piled-up quantity. CONSTITUTION:The quantity of the piled-up printed matter is detected by a means 20 for detecting the quantity of the piled-up printed matter and the data thus obtained on the powder quantity are inputted to a means 30 for driving a powder quantity regulating valve. Based on the data on the powder quantity obtained from the means 20 for detecting the piled-up quantity, the means for driving the powder quantity regulating valve operates to regulate the quantity of powder by driving the powder quantity regulating valve 8 of a tank and/or a powder quantity regulating valve 12 of a nozzle and reduce the quantity of powder to be sprinkled as the piled quantity decreases. The means 20 for detecting the piled quantity of printed matter can employ means for detecting the position of an elevator or another for the number of piled-up printed matters. A servomotor M turns depending on the data of piled-up quantity and a rack 32 moves interlockingly according to the rotation of a pinion 31, thereby a valve 33 for regulating the powder quantity interlockingly moves. Thus the powder quantity can be regulated. |
