PURPOSE:To prevent overdischarge of a battery and to eliminate the effect on a main device, by detecting a voltage drop of the battery under charge, making a peripheral device inoperative forcedly and avoiding the transmission of an interruption signal to the main device. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage of a battery 8 under charge drops to a prescribed voltage or lower, an output of a phase inverting circuit G1 of a battery voltage detecting circuit 9 goes to a low level and an FF1 of a signal generating circuit 5 is not inverted. Thus, since the FF1 is not operated even if an address decoder 4 outputs a signal, a printer controller circuit 6 and a printer mechanism 7 are not operated. Simultaneously, a constant output appears from an NOR gate G2 to prevent the generation of an interruption signal from an interruption controlling circuit 3. Thus, the overdischarge of the battery 8 is prevented and the operation can be continued without giving effect on the main device 1. |
