<p>PURPOSE:To enable the flash photography with proper exposure value, by controlling the switching of shooting modes after detecting that an object to be photographed (object) is outside a range of flash photography. CONSTITUTION:The output of a comparator of a photometric circuit is not inverted and kept at a low level in case an object is outside a range of flash photograhpy in response to the distance, brightness, etc. of the object. Then a warning display is given via an LED, etc. after detecting that the object is outside the range of falsh photography. At the same time, a transistor at the side of a flash light emitting device is turned off. As a result, a terminal (a) is released from its earth state and no current flows to a flash device from the camera side. Thus the output of an operational amplifier AR9 is set at the same level as the voltage of a constant voltage source 301. Therefore the output of a comparator CP5 is not inerted and kept at a low level, and a switch 302 is not switched to secure a natural light photography mode not a flash light photography mode. In such a way, the flash photography is always possible with proper exposure value.</p> |
