In a processing table for a device for unhairing limed skins, in which the unhairing device has a rod (2), over which the skin (1) is hung, and a cleaning device (10, 11) on each of the two sides of a vertical track (8a), the table (6) can be introduced between the side parts of the skin (1) hanging down from the rod (2) and can move upwards on the vertical track. At the same time, the cleaning devices can bear under a working pressure against the skin supported on the table and can be pressed away from the table when resistances occur. To separate the skin from the table behind the cleaning devices, the table has, on both sides, abutments (33) which can be extended out beyond the table surface in the absence of a working pressure of the cleaning devices and which can be retracted flush into the plane of the table surface as a function of the working pressure of the cleaning device. <IMAGE>
