The invention concerns a lifting head (24) for a jack (1) which is designed to be horizontally and vertically manoeuvrable with an internal control mechanism (2) in the jack (1), preferably a chain mechanism. According to the invention, the lifting head (24) is designed with an operation control {33), in which a fixture boom (34) is positioned, in both a movable and fixed mode, via at least one locking unit (35).
