PURPOSE:To improve the responding performance to a command given from a CPU and to accelerate the controlling actions of peripheral devices, by using a hardware which can perform an asynchronous process to process the controlling actions of the peripheral devices and the command given from the CPU. CONSTITUTION:The commands given from a CPU to the logical channels corresponding to peripheral devices 5-1-5-4 are stored or loaded to a scratch pad memory 9 alloted to each channel via an exclusive hardware. In this case, while a certain channel is executing a task by a command given from an SPM, the commands from the CPU are all rejected to the relevant channel. That is, a responding action is carried out by a hardware which detects a specific command to start the execution of a task and a hardware which decides the response of the channel corresponding to the command from the CPU. As a result, the responding performance can be improved to a command given from a CPU. |
