<p>A process and an installation for the heat treatment of a product liquid based on the continuous flow principle, in which a regenerative heat-exchanger (5) is used. A part (7) of said heat-exchanger is provided with an additional heat-exchanging surface (16) connected to a cooling circuit (17), the variable capacity of which is determined by both the temperature and the output of the product liquid in order to maintain the efficiency of the heat treatment under changing input quantities of the product liquid.</p> |
