In the elimination of deficiency states relating to metals, it is possible to place metal pieces in the mouth, in place of tablets, which is advantageous inasmuch as it is possible thereby to achieve a result over a longer period with, in fact, a lower dosage. Thus there is no unwanted or disadvantageous inundation of the body, which is often the case on intake of tablets. Metal pieces made of aluminium have a detoxifying effect for the period during which one such is placed in the mouth.
