PURPOSE:To minimize a warming up time, by setting the rated power of consumption of a heater for fixation sufficiently large and controlling so as to make the total quantity of the power consumption of other electric parts and that of the heater for fixation equal to the permissible power of electric source. CONSTITUTION:Electric voltage is applied to a heater 4 for fixation and other electric parts 6 by supplying electric source 2 and a heating is started by the heater 4, and as the electric parts except the heat fixation device are not operated, a power consumption is less, and it is allowed that the electric current near the largest current which is allowable in view of the power capacity of an electric source 1 is made to flow. When a fixation temp. is below the prescribed temp. by a temp. detector 9 of the fixation device such as a thermistor, an output of a comparator 8 becomes high impedance and outputting voltage Eout of an amplifier 10 is applied to a circuit 7. After attaining the prescribed temp., an output of the comparator 8 is low impedance and low level, and the feeding to the heater for fixation is cut off. |
