<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a malfunction resulting from the overloading of a spring- up member, by interposing an elastic member between a paper supply cassette and a bottom plate to bear a part of the weight of recording paper on the bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:A V-shaped spring 9 for urging a bottom plate 6 in a spring-up direction shown by an arrow X in the drawing is provided between the bottom plate 6 and the body 7 of a paper supply cassette. One arm 9b of the spring 9 supported at the bent part 9a at a mounting fulcrum 10 on the cassette body 7 is engaged in the drop-in hole 11 of the cassette body and the other arm 9c is secured on the anchoring part 6a of the bottom plate 6 so that a part of the weight of recording paper B on the bottom plate is borne by the spring. Since the required spring-up torque of a spring-up member 5 is reduced by the bearing of the spring 9, a driving system for the spring-up member is not overstrained.</p> |
