PURPOSE:To set working positions easily on works different in shape and dimension by mounting guide pin units for positioning on a sample stand and bringing the work into contact with the guide pin and positioning said work. CONSTITUTION:Guide pin units 35A-35C for positioning are inserted into concavities 38 provided on a sample stand 32, and guide pins 36P, 36Q and 36R are selectively protruded by operation from the outside. A work 34 which is carried from left to right is brought into contact with guide pins 36P and 36Q and positioned in the X-direction, and pushed to the guide pin 36R by an air cylinder, etc. and positioned in the Y-direction. When such positioning is completed, an upper die of the press dies is lowered, and piercing work is performed on the work 34. |
