PURPOSE:To produce the titled polymer excellent in processability, compression set, etc., by grafting a specified monomer mixture onto a copolymer comprising vinyl chloride and a polymerizable compound containing at least two unsaturated bonds. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer (A) is obtained by suspension-polymerizing a mixture containing 100-55wt% vinyl chloride and 0-45wt% monomer copolymerizable therewith (e.g., vinyl acetate) with 0.01-2wt% polymerizable compound having at least two unsaturated bonds (e.g., dially phthalate). Then, 1-100pts.wt. mixture (B) containing above 50wt% at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of a (meth)acrylate ester and a styrene monomer and below 50wt% above polymerizable compound is grafted onto 100pts.wt. component A. EFFECT:It is possible to obtain a vinyl chloride graft copolymer excellent in moldability and matting effect and capable of providing flexible moldings having improved compression set and creep resistance. |
