PURPOSE:To manufacture the on-demand type ink jet recorder, the variation of the speed of drops therefrom is reduced even when operation is performed at high speed and hence the quality of recording thereby is made excellent. CONSTITUTION:The on-demand ink jet recorder injects ink (by means of a nozzle 1) and supplies 3 ink after injection by the voluminal change of a pressure chamber 2 generating pressure through an electromechanical converting means 4. The speed of ink injection and the volume of injection are made constant without depending upon time intervals until the next ink injection after ink injection by applying voltage pulses, amplitude and pulse width thereof are determined in response to said time intervals, to said electrochemical converting means 4 (such as a piezoelectric element). In the figure, 61 is a voltage control circuit, 62 a transistor for charge giving a piezoelectric element 64 charges and 63 a transistor for discharge for discharging the charges of the piezoelectric element 64. |
