<p>Carbon dioxide snow is dispensed or packed in small quantities as desired by discharging liquid CO2 from a storage cylinder via a spray valve in quantities automatically controlled by a suitable mechanical, pneumatic or electromagnetically actuated stop valve. The discharge may be limited by a timing device and the discharge is confined by an enclosure within which suitable receivers, including paper cups or bags, may be placed. The enclosure may be floor- or wall-mounted in an area with good general ventilation. May be used for cooling food or drinks etc., providing the piping and components through which the CO2 passes are of food grade standard and construction.</p> |
