PURPOSE:To prevent increasing of charging voltage to decomposition voltage of a solvent in an electrolyte during charging by arranging a polyacetylene layer on the surface of a positive electrode. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode 1 is formed by punching a lithium plate in a required dimension. A positive electrode 2 is formed by compressing a mixed powder of 90wt% molybdenum trioxide acting as an active mass, 6wt% acetylene black acting as a conductive material, and 4wt% fluorine resin acting as a binder. A polyacetylene layer 3 arranged on the surface of the positive electrode 2 is formed by molding together a polyacetylene film and a positive electrode. An organic electrolyte prepared by dissolving 1mol/l lithium perchlorate acting as a solute in a mixed solvent of polypropylene carbonate and dimethoxy ethane is impregnated in a separator 4 comprising a polypropylene nonwoven fabric. By this construction, charging voltage is increased to about 4.0V with time, but at about 4.0V, charging voltage becomes constant, and increase of charging voltage stops. |
