PURPOSE:To obtain a filter having high resolution, etc. by coating a coloring element receptive layer, and a thermosensitive recording layer successively on a substrate then repeating the operations of irradiating high density energy rays to the thermosensitive recording layer, exposing the coloring element receptive layer in desired patterns and coloring the same. CONSTITUTION:A coloring element receptive layer (mordanting layer) 11 is formed on a substrate 10 by coating gelatin for hard filming contg. a polymer having a quaternary ammonium salt, etc. as a mordant dye thereon. Thereafter, a thermosensitive recording layer 12 contg. nitrocellulose and carbon black is coated on the layer 11, and argon laser light is scanned and irradiated thereto from the substrate 10 side to evaporate away the layer 12 like patterns and to expose the layer 11, whereby the 1st coloring elements are fixed and dyed parts 13 are formed. The layer 12 is stripped, and a thermosensitive recording layer 12' is newly provided, and the 2nd coloring elements are fixed by the similar operations to those mentioned above, whereby dyed parts 14 are formed. In the same manner, the 3rd dyed parts 15 are formed. Thus the optical filter for three colors, cyan, yellow, and magenta having high resolution, and high durability is obtained in good yields. |
