PURPOSE:To prevent temp. drifts of sensors due to heat evolved by a lamp, and to enable always exact reading of original information, by releasing connection an original information reading device moved by traction of a scanning stand during continuous copying. CONSTITUTION:An exposure scanning stand 11 is mounted on guide rails 13, 13', and an original information reading device 14 moving by traction of the stand 11 is installed on guide rails 30, 30', and the device 4 is provided with sensors 21, 22 for reading density of an original, its size, etc. The stand 11 and the device 14 are allowed to move in one body by energizing a connection pin arm 31 clockwise with a spring 33 to engage it through a pin 32 with a connection lever 35. At the time of making the second copy in continuous copying, the connection is released by actuating a releasing lever 40 on receiving a prescribed signal, and the device 14 is left at the home position, thus permitting temp. rise of the sensors 21, 22 due to heat evolution of an exposure lamp to be suppressed to the min., their drifts to be prevented, and exact information reading to be executed. |
