Compound Seasoning Compositions on the basis of glutamic acid salts are provided, which have a gram equivalent ratio of sodium: potassium in the range of 0 - 3.5 : 1, a gram equivalent ratio of calcium: potassium in the range of 0 - 1.5 : 1 and a ratio of (mole number of glutamic acid): (total gram equivalent number of potassium, sodium and calcium) in the range of 0.1 - 1.2 : 1. These seasoning compositions show superior taste intensifying properties and impart rich full-bodied flavor to different kinds of food.
