PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics of a pressure fixable capsulated toner for one-component development as powder and to prevent an offsetting phenomenon by spray-drying a liq. medium contg. microcapsules together with electrically conductive fine powder to provide electric conductivity to the surfaces of the shells. CONSTITUTION:A microencapsulated toner for one-component development contg. a core substance for recording, a binder and a magntic material is dispersed in a liq. medium. At this time, a polyurethane resin, polyurea resin or amino resin is used as the material of the shell formed around the core substance. An aqueous dispersion of colloidal graphite is added to the liq. dispersion of the toner, and the mixture is spray-dried to deposit electrically conductive carbon to the surface of the shell of the toner. Thus, a capsulated toner having superior characteristics as powder and causing no offsetting phenomenon is obtd. |
