PURPOSE:To perform air conditioning without deteriorating the comfortableness in a room by a method wherein the revaporation of water from a heat exchanger on the room side after a stop of the operation of a compressor is restricted as much as possible. CONSTITUTION:The operation of the compressor 1 which constitutes the freezing cycle of an air conditioner together with the inroom heat exchanger 5, an outroom heat exchanger 2 and pressure reducing device 4 is controlled by detecting the room temperature. In this instance, a longest length of stop period of the compressor during the interruptional operation is set in accordance with the operational period or time period proportional to an operational time ratio. An electronic control device 12 is additionally provided. With such a construction, in comparison with a cenventional control system in which a preset time period is determined to be constant, the revaporation of water from the inroom heat exchanger 5 after the stop of compressor operation can be restricted largely. Thus the air conditioning without deteriorating the comfortableness in the room can be realized. |
