PURPOSE:To obtain a hot water generator capable of easy handling, by providing a plurality of small-type multipiped once-through boilers. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of shell units 1 each of which is comprised of an upper header 2 and a lower header 3 connected to each other by a plurality of water pipes 4 are provided. Each of the lower headers 3 is provided with a connecting part 6 for a connecting pipe 5 to maintain the surface level of heat- transmitting medium water to be uniform, while each of the upper headers 2 is provided with a connecting part 9 for communicating with a heat exchanger 8 incorporating a heat-transmitting pipe 7 for supplying hot water and/or heating. |
