PURPOSE:To provide always stable flow controlling property irrespective of wear of a valve body or the like, in a valve having the plate-shaped valve body arranged reciprocatively orthogonally to the central axis of an opening in a valve seat by bending an end line of the valve body concavely in the direction of opening the valve body. CONSTITUTION:A valve seat 6 provided with a circular opening 6a is fixed in a valve box 5a of a slide valve 5, and a pair of parallel guides 7a, 7b are fixed at both sides of the opening 6a to sandwich same. A plate-shaped valve body 8 is mounted to slide along these guides 7a, 7b and reciprocate left and right through a rod member 9. Also, an end edge 8c of the valve body 8 in the direction of closing the valve is formed concavely in the direction of opening the valve 5 to control flow according to the variation of opening area between the end edge 8c and the opening 6a of the valve seat 6. Thus, irrespective of wear of the valve body 8 and the valve seat 6, the change in flow controlling property can be absorbed only by adjustment of slide amount of the valve body 8. |
