PURPOSE:To prevent the chattering of the vane type rotary compressor by a method wherein a seal part is provided on the inner peripheral wall of a cylinder and the inner peripheral wall of the cylinder is separated gradually from a rotor by a smooth curve. CONSTITUTION:The terminal point 11 of the seal parts 7, 7a is provided on the border point between a high pressure sideI, IA and a low pressure IIA, II. The center of the arced surface of the inner peripheral wall 5 of the cylinder at the terminal point 11 is set so as to be the point of the S1. The center of the rotor 1 comes to the point S, therefore, the tangential lines L2 of the rotor 1 and the inner peripheral wall 5 of the cylinder at the terminal point 11 of the seal part 7 coincides with a line L1 connecting the center points S, S1, thus, the inner peripheral wall 5 of the cylinder is separated from the outer peripheral wall of the rotor with a stepless smooth curve and whereby the chattering of the vane type rotary compressor may be prevented. |
