<p>PURPOSE:To enhance electromagnetic conversion characteristics, travelling stability, and durability, by using a binder consisting mainly of a vinyl chloride-vinylidene chloride-vinyl alcohol copolymer having a specified component proportion. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer of 89-20wt% vinyl chloride, 10-60wt% vinylidene chloride and 1-20wt% vinyl alcohol alone or a combination of this copolymer amounting to >=40wt% and another resin is used as a binder, and a magnetic layer is formed by dispersing a magnetic powder into this resin binder.</p> |
