PURPOSE:To prevent a harmful gas of one fluidized bed from flowing into the other fluidized bed, in sending a fluidized substance in one fluidized bed to the other fluidized bed by gravity, by making the pressure of the other fluidized bed side higher than that of one fluidized bed side. CONSTITUTION:A fluidized bed type regenerating furnace 1 of a used desulfurizing agent and a fluidized bed type cooler 2 of the regenerated desulfurizing agent are connected by a connecting pipe 3 having an angle of inclination theta larger than the angle of repose of a fluidized substance and this substance is transferred by gravity. That is, the used desulfurizing agent thrown and supplied into the regenerating furnace 1 from a throwing-in pipe 4 is burnt at about 1,000 deg.C to regenerate CaO and this regenerated CaO is sent the cooler 2 to be recovered from an emitting pipe 5 while cooled to about 300 deg.C. In this case, the pressure P2 of the connecting pipe part in the side of the cooler 2 is made higher than the pressure P1 of the connecting pipe part in the side of the regenerating furnace 1 to send air in the cooler 2 into the regenerating furnace 1 in a proper amount. By this mechanism, a harmful gas generated in the regenerating furnace 1 is prevented from being supplied into the cooler 2. |
