PURPOSE:To make the chemical components and temp. of a fused flux uniform and to obtain stable quality by agitating the fused flux in an electric furnace by a means from the outside during melting of flux raw materials in said furnace. CONSTITUTION:In order to feed a bar-like wooden material 15 in the position where the highest agitating effect is obtained, the angle thereof is beforehand set by an adjusting plate 2 for lateral feed angles and an adjusting plate 3 for vertical feed angles. The material 15 is fed into a furnace 14 by a driving device to agitate flux raw materials 13 from the completion of charging up to tapping. The moisture contained in the material 15 fed into the furnace evaporates and expands quickly and the fused flux in the furnace is vigorously boiled by such evaporation, whereby the nonuniform temp. and chemical components of the fused flux are made uniform at one time. The material 15 burns quickly and forms carbides, by which chemical reaction is accelerated. The material 15 is removed and immediately the fused flux is tapped and is cooled. |
