PURPOSE:To make the adjustment of azimuth easy with simple constitution, by standing up a plate spring from a fitting leg fixed to a magnetic head case, bringing the center of the plate spring into contact with a device and bringing the free end into contact with the lower surface of the leg. CONSTITUTION:A plate spring 11 is stood up at the center of a fitting leg 3 of a magnetic head 1, and folded parts 11b and 11c are processed for the spring 11. A width (w) of the free end branched into two is widened more than the width of an opening 12, and the tip of the folded part 11c is brought into contact with the rear surface of the leg 3 at all times. The leg 3 is mounted on a device 6 to adjust an azimuth deviation angle theta between a straight line (b) orthogonal to the running direction of a magnetic tape T and a straight line (a) through a magnetic gap with a screw 9 until the angle becomes zero. In this case, the folded parts 11b, 11c of the plate spring press the leg 3 upward at all times. Thus, the azimuth can be adjusted simply with ease of fitting without the need of another spring for the screw 9. |
