发明名称 OPERATING METHOD FOR BLAST FURNACE
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce pig iron of a low Si content suited for desulfurization and dephosphorization treatments in a blast furnace by blowing iron oxide or both iron oxide and fuel into a blast furnace through its tuyeres. CONSTITUTION:Iron oxide of 50% fine powder of <=1mm. grain size is blown into a blast furnace through its tuyeres at >=5kg per ton of molten iron to cause the reaction of[Si]+2FexO 2x[Fe]+(SiO2) with the high Si pig iron in the blast furnace, whereby the pig iron of a low Si content is produced and the need for the desiliconization thereafter is eliminated. Iron ore, mill scale, etc. are used as iron oxide, and if the fine powder is contained too much, the fine powder is reduced directly with the coke in front of the tuyeres and does not contribute to the desiliconization reaction any more; therefore the preferable grain sizes of the iron oxide are about 3mm.. Since the above-mentioned reducing reaction is unavoidable, it is desirable to compensate the material and heat balance in the blast furnace by blowing fuel such as pulverized coal or the like together with the iron oxide.
