PURPOSE:To locate the generating position of a kick pulse at an upper or lower inconspicuous part of a screen, by controlling the generating position of the kick pulse at the outside of a vertical blanking period with time management in response to the number of pulses. CONSTITUTION:In the quick motion reproduction of a video disc reproducer, the position of a reproducing scanner 10 on a video signal is detected, the change in the track to be scanned with the scanner 10 overflowed from a vertical blanking period is done as near as possible at the vertical blanking period which can not disturb the signal detection within the vertical blanking period in the minimum interval surely changed by the required number, the position of noise due to track change on the receiver screen is arranged at the position at upper or lower position of the screen, not noticed, and the quick motion reproduction faster than the reproducing speed to be realized only with the track change of the scanner 10 for the vertical blanking period without remarkable deterioration of the receiver screen. |
