PURPOSE:To control accurately glow plug temperature with a simple circuit construction by using a glow plug for a Diesel engine or the like to obtain the glow plug temperature from resistance value of the glow plug. CONSTITUTION:Current IG applied to a glow plug 4 is detected by a current detector 3 and amplified by an amplifier OP1. Voltage Vc applied to the glow plug 4 is divided by resistances R2, R3. Current and voltage applied to the glow plug are applied to the input of a comparator CMP so that the present glow plug temperature is compared with allowable temperature. According to this result a transistor TR1 is controlled. Thus the glow plug temperature can be accurately controlled with a simple circuit construction. |
