PURPOSE:To obtain the ceramic having excellent temperature characteristic and aging property for piezoelectric constant by a method wherein, when lead zirconium-titanate piezoelectric ceramic is formed, Pb(TixZr1-x)O3 is used as the main component, and either of 0.2-2.0wt% Sb and 0.1-0.5wt% Cr is added to the above. CONSTITUTION:At least one of 0.2-2.0wt% Sb, 0.1-0.5wt% Cr and Mn oxide is added to Pb(TixZr1-x)O3 wherein x is prescribed to be within 0.47-0.52. Then, the prescribed amount of the above materials are weighed, and they are calcined at approximate temperature of 1,000 deg.C for 90min or thereabout, they are pulverized, and after granulation by adding binder, they are molded into the desired shape. Subsequently, the above is calcinated by holding them at 1,300 deg.C for approximately 60min, both front and back sides of the above are ground, a silver electrode is attached thereon, a DC voltage of 20kV/cm is applied for 10min in the silicone oil of 150 deg.C and polarized. |
