PURPOSE:To effectively and rapidly stop a synchronous generator by switching the generator from an automatic voltage regulation control to a constant excitation control by a parallel breaker defect detection signal and stopping the generator by opening the high voltage side breaker after the switching. CONSTITUTION:When a trouble while the a-contact 2a of a parallel breaker 2 occurs at the stopping and controlling time of the generator, a time limiting realy 53 is energized and the a-contact 53a of a time limiting relay 53 after the set time limit is closed, thereby allowing an AVR and D-AVR selecting and switching keep relay 56 to be reset. The AVR is removed from the generated by this reset, and the constant excitation control can be performed by the use of the D-AVR. On the other hand, the time limit relay 57 is energized by the reset of the b-contact 56b of the keep relay 56, the a-contact 57a of the time limit relay 57 after the set time limit opens the high voltage side breaker, and an emergency stop closure realy is operated. Accordingly, the generator is interrupted in input from the system, the rotating speed of the generator is decreased as the stop of the motor and the generator is consequently stopped. |
