PURPOSE:To obtain a speed change gear having a short shaft length by improving the arrangement of shafts. CONSTITUTION:Shafts 3, 4 are arranged in parallel with an input shaft 2 respectively. The input shaft 2 supports rotatably a hollow shaft 11 coaxially around it. The input shaft 2 and the shaft 3 are connected in a power transmitting relation selectively through a friction clutch 15 while the input shaft 2 and the shaft 4 are connected in the same relation through the friction clutch 16. A speed changing gear train, meshing at all times, is provided between the shaft 3 and the hollow shaft 11 as well as the shaft 4 and the hollow shaft 11 while a rotating power inputted into the input shaft 2 is changed in the speed thereof and is outputted out of an outer gear 51 supported rotatably on the shaft 4. |
