<p>PURPOSE:To ensue an accurate input to another device with no error for a tablet device which is used to the input of the coordinate information, by giving the weighting to the addresses showing the ranges of the character and symbol regions. CONSTITUTION:The addresses of X and Y directions delivered from a tablet device are applied to latch circuits 11 and 12 respectively and then delivered after divided into high-order, decision and low-order bits respectively. The selecting circuits 15 and 16 deliver the low-order bit output directly to the comparators 17 and 18 when the decision bit output is 0 at the control terminal, and deliver the inverted low-order bit to the comparators 17 and 18 when the decision bit output is 1, respectively. The outputs of the circuits 15 and 16 are larger than the applied threshold levels E and E', the outputs of the comparators 17 and 18 deliver 1. Therefore if the addresses are within the effective ranges of the character and symbol regions in both the X and Y directions, the signals of characters and symbols are fed to another device in accordance with a correspondence that is previously set.</p> |
