<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the effective confirmation of characters, by reducing the tablet area with use of a tablet for writing one character, writing the characters to the same tablet and moving the display position. CONSTITUTION:Just one character is written to a handwritten character recognizer 1, and a tablet 2 for writing one character and a pen 1 are provided. Then the characters written to the tablet 2 are detected by the pen 1 and through a co ordinate detecting part 3, and then the holograph information on the detected characters is fed to a character recognizing part 4. The part 4 stores successively the holograph information and also stores continuously the on/off information of the pen 1 until it breaks for a certain period or longer. Based on this stored information, the characters are recognized, and the character codes are fed to a display control part 5. The part 5 converts the character codes into a character pattern and at the same time decides the display position to send it to a display part 6. Thus the character pattern is displayed at a prescribed position of the part 6. Thus can reduce the setting area of the recognizer 1.</p> |
