PURPOSE:To maintain an accurate positional relation between a sensor and a rotating plate, by a method wherein a rotating plate and a fixed ring provided with a sensor are fitted to a steering wheel, and the fixed ring is provided with rotation-preventing members. CONSTITUTION:The steering wheel is fitted with a rotating ring 13 and the rotating plate 8, and the fixed ring 14 is supported by the rotating ring 13. The fixed ring 14 is fitted with a rotation senser 9, and rotation of the fixed ring 14 is prevented by the rotation-preventing members 3b, 14c. The rotation of the rotating plate 8 is detected by the sensor 9. Since the fixed ring 14 for fitting the sensor 9 is supported by the rotating ring 13, the accurate positional relationship between the sensor 9 and the rotating plate 8 can be maintained. Accordingly, defect of lacking the ability of the sensor 9 to detect the rotation or the like can be avoided. |
