PURPOSE:To prevent the disturbance of images by frictional electrostatic charging by providing conductivity to an original plate mask to be brought into tight contact with an electrophotographic photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the photosensitive layer 7b of an electrophotographic photoreceptor 7 is electrostatically charged 8 uniformly and the emulsion surface 9a of an original plate mask 9 is superposed thereon. Air is evacuated through an air releasing port 5 to bring both into tight contact with each other. When the mask 9 is held charged, the latent images of the layer 7b are disturbed and polarization is generated by the electric discharge, etc. when the mask is going to be stripped; therefore the mask 9 is beforehand destaticized by bringing a transparent conductive film 11 into contact therewith. Thereafter, the mask is exposed with a lamp 3 to project the images of the mask 9 to the layer 7b. |
